Boulou et Ellios Ferré, Jazz
In collaboration with the Délégation Générale de l'Alliance Française in the United States and Savanna Jazz Club.

The Ferrés are musicians like other families are sailors.
The father was the accompanist not only for Édith Piaf and Charles Trenet, but also for Bill Coleman and Benny Carter.
He associated with or accompanied all the legends pre-war jazz can boast of.
Also, Boulou opened for Coltrane at the Festival of Antibes and since then has appeared on all the major stages.

His younger brother joined him to form a duo.
At the Ferrés' beef stew is a family affair around the cooking pot.
That's the kind of celebration they both love, the festive spirit that has tended to disappear from the world of jazz.
On stage, the dialogue between them is continuous; they talk to each other through music. And bring Django Reinhardt back to life.

A few months before his death, didn't Duke Ellington say to Boulou: "You are the rainbow through the genius of Django"?
Being of gypsy origin, music is their life inasmuch as it is a family affair. Sons of Django, but without sinking into djangomania, they appropriate his music, find their inspiration in it, but pay it the best of homages by making very personal music.
