| Poet Phyllis Stowell’s Shield/Le Bouclier is a collaborative project that occurred during a six-month residence in the south of France. Shield is a dialogue between poet and painter, mother and daughter, age and youth, one in which both seek to confront apparent reality without expecting to encompass it or to ignore its mystery. |
