Anne Walther (A Time for Treason) reads from her latest novel Loss of Innocence. This tale of intrigue and adventure tells the story of French countess Eugénie Devereux, who risks her life to save Marie-Antoinette.

Along with an American shipper who has won her heart, Eugénie plunges into a little-known historical plot by French nobles and courageous Americans to rescue the queen from her prison in France and spirit her across the Atlantic to the banks of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania.
