  • Laura Muñoz, of the Instituto Moro, Mexico, presents “French Caribbean: Images in National Geographic Magazine”
  • Dr. Angela Winand, of the University of Illinois, Springfield, presents “Alice Dunbar-Nelson: Race, Class, and Créole Identity in Stories of New Orleans"
The lectures, in English, will be followed by a question and answer period with both speakers.
